The workhorse detector fitted to the majority of our installed DR systems.
Product Overview
The iLume 4343 is the standard detector across the iLume DR range: a 43×43 cm full-format active area, 139 µm pixel pitch and a caesium iodide (CsI) scintillator. The detector SDK is integrated into our own acquisition software, so exposure control, calibration and image processing are tuned for this panel rather than adapted around it. Specification is defined by us, manufacturing is contracted to a qualified detector plant to our drawings, and every unit is re-inspected before shipment.
Key Features
- 43×43 cm full-format active area — covers routine canine and feline thoracic, abdominal and skeletal views on one detector; the whole range is specified in centimetres.
- 139 µm pixel pitch / 3072 × 3072 matrix — 3.6 lp/mm spatial resolution for general diagnostic detail.
- CsI scintillator + 16-bit A/D — 14 nGy minimum detectable dose (RQA5).
- 1 s image display — Gigabit Ethernet interface, preview immediately after exposure.
- IP65 ingress protection — tolerates routine cleaning and disinfection in the imaging room.
- Software and detector tuned together — SDK integrated in the acquisition software; AED or software triggering.

Warranty & Support
Manufacturer warranty applies. Because the acquisition software and the detector come from the same supplier, one party is responsible for the whole imaging chain. Spare-detector and replacement arrangements are agreed per market — contact your distributor.
FAQ
Q: Who manufactures iLume detectors?
We define the specification, a contracted detector plant builds to our drawings, and we re-inspect every unit before shipment. The iLume name and the quality responsibility are ours.
Q: Is 43×43 cm the same as 17×17 inch?
Yes. The whole iLume range is specified in centimetres to avoid the two naming conventions being read as two different detectors.
Q: Can the detector be bought separately to upgrade an existing system?
The detector driver depends on our acquisition software. Compatibility with an existing generator and workstation is assessed by your distributor before quotation.
Q: What happens if the detector fails?
After fault confirmation the detector is exchanged under the warranty and spare-detector arrangement for your market; the faulty unit then goes through the repair channel.
